Our Background

 

Jouli and Jeff have over 20 years of experience as vocal teachers. The success of their practice can be attributed in large part to the achievements of both present and former students. They share a common love for music although their musical backgrounds are quite different. Their unique combination of music backgrounds enable them to assist vocalists with a very broad range of musical styles. They both play the piano, sing and have performed professionally. Jeff is a composer and accomplished guitarist. Whether working with artist in the recording studio or with students preparing for an audition, one thing is clear and that is how much they love what they do.

Jouli is a graduate of  The National Academy of Music/Tchaikovsky Conservatory where she received a Masters Degree in Choral Direction. Prior to becoming a vocal teacher, she performed in New York City for nine years with various ensemble groups and as a soloist. She has utilized proven vocal techniques and exercises along with her classical training to help sudents and performing artists increase their vocal capability. Jouli and Jeff have builit an outstanding reputation as vocal instructors and their clients range from beginning singers to professionals. Our students have won numerous awards in vocal competitions and many have been selected for lead roles in their local school and community theatre productions. We are very proud that many of our students have been accepted to some of the top college musical theatre programs in the country.

Private Voice Lessons

Private lessons available on a weekly basis. Lessons typically are for one hour. No charge for initial consultation. Special sessions for students preparing for auditions or artists going to recording studio.  Lessons are available in our studio, your location or virtual.
